I have had my mirena in for almost 3 yrs. 3 weeks ago i found out i was pregnant with my mirena still in and had to have it remove. Because the mirena was removed it caused me to have a miscarriage. i was wondering if anyone else has gotten pregnant while on the mirena miscarried and had a successful pregnancy after??

I'm on the mirena. And I thought it was 99% effective. But after doing some research. It really isn't any different than taking the pill everyday. And yes.a friend of mine got pregnant with twins on the mirena. One didn't make it. But the other one do and is healthy as can be.
