Are you coming ahead financially at all with going back to work?
Do you enjoy your job? I have 2 little ones as well, and though daycare costs are more, its still financially worth me working. However it comes down to balance as well. Some women enjoy doing both. I LOVE being home with the kids, but I still love my job and enjoy the balance of family time/ career fulfillment. And daycare has helped my children with their socialization skills. They enjoy "kiddie time" as I enjoy "adult time".
I just read Emmy's response. Perhaps I misunderstood the question? lol Sorry if I did!
Good luck!

Unfortunatly the goverenment wont help as our joint income is above average. I cannot work evenings or nights as my husband is a manager and he could get called in at any time. So I am in catch 22 situation which is a pain. Thanks for your advice

Have you rang your governement to see whether they have assistance for childcare cos i know we get 50 percent of our out of cost back. I am in australia. Have you considered doing something working from home so u can look after your kids of how about one parent works days and the other nights so the kids always have a parent looking after them and u dont have to pay for childcare
