Hi Everyone. What do you working moms do for daycare in the summer when your school age children are on summer vacation? My daughter's babysitter only babysits children through 5 years of age so I'm majorly stressing about care for my daughter after she turns 5. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

We are fortunate that our family helps out and are available. Also, our daughter in now 12 and the two oldest do not try to kill each other as much. This said, we still try to find camps they can participate in. We have also sent our daughter to her aunts to visit with counsins.

Check the private schools in your area. Many of them offer summer school/camp for the two months when public schools are out.

I don't have a child that old but I have friends that do and they send them to fun summer day camps. Do you have any community centers in your area? You can usually find great summer day camps at community centers or even the YMCA or Campfire. Good luck!
