Weaning onto breast milk in a bottle

I have 8 weeks until my return to work(full time).
We have been trying for a week already to get him used to having his morning and lunch feds from a bottle but his only taking 15mL at a time and its taking up to 90 min for him to drink 100mLs a with a nap (30min sleep) inbetween and that's only if i'm feeding him and not the Nana's who will be caring for him.

How much should i be trying to get him to drink?
Any suggestions for how to get him to drink from others?

My kids had no problems taking a bottle for someone else, but they never would for me.

Keep up with the bottle everyday. After 3 months of age, they loose the "sweet spot". Just keep up with it, he will take to it.

firstly you are luck that he took onto the bottle..introducing bottle after breast feeding is in itself a tough job.



Secondly, if he has started taking it, even if in small amounts, he will develop the habit and familarity with this process. just give him time. one thing that i learnt from my own experience in this domain is that never push. kids are intelligent biengs with there own pace of adjustment. just keep offering him the bottle and make it a routine. once the bottle is in place, nana will come next.
