Hi my name is Christina Burke. I have an energetic son Robert, AKA Robbie. I work full time as a trauma PA. I work about 12 extra hours a week to pay the bills. About 8 shifts are over night. So most days I'm exhausted or running around to get things done. My son is not in daycare. My husband and I have worked our schedules so one of us is always home because we just can't afford daycare. I've noticed even though we do lots of play dates n trips to the park ect. He seems not as socialized as most kids his age. He's good once he gets to know the other kid but that usually takes several 1:1 play dates. If anyone has any advise I'd greatly appreciate it.

My little one is 6 months old and I stayed on maternity leave until she was 3 mos. I'm a teacher so I get summers off, but as a teacher I need money during the summer as well. I'm on spring break now and I've enjoyed my extra time with my baby girl. This will be the first summer that I won't work so that I can hang with my love bucket.

Hi everybody, I'm Stephanie, I have a 4 year old daughter. I take everyday in stride and do what I can to learn and be there for every important 'milestone''s she'll experience. I love my baby, she's who I live for. Unfortunately her father chooses not to be a part of her life, uses her as a pawn almost, like it's a game. It's sad, but we're the ones that have to answer all the questions about 'daddy', and I do believe it's important to not 'bash' the other parent (his absence is enough emotional stress on the poor kid, ya know?) But other than that, she's a happy, healthy, smart lil lady. I would love to find some kind of legitimate work online from home, searching the internet for something that doesn't want you to pay/take a survey is d**** near impossible. lol.

Hello everybody! I'm April and I'm a mother or four. Three daughters ages 17, 13, and 8. As for my son he is 5 -years old. For the past couple of months I became a stay at home job. Not by choice, unfortunately the place of business closed down. I still don't feel like I'm getting a break because I'm never get the chance to stop. Although they keep me busy I still feel like I have room left for one more little angel in my life. Boy or girl doesn't matter. Twins might be even better. I'm not picky.

Hi everyone. I'm Astrid, the mother of two girls aged 13 and 3, and also the full guardian of my youngest sister, who is also 13. I'm a Civil Engineer, and I work full time, but my husband is a stay at home dad/uncle (he also looks after my two nieces, who are 5 and 20 months) and he's absolutely fantastic with them. It's horrible, the amount of stuff you miss, especially when they are really little, but you get past that, honestly.

I hope I'll be able to help other working Mums since my daughters are past the baby stage.

I am a single mom of 2 boys ages 3 and 6. My boys have seperate fathers and both fathers decided that having a child around is alot of work.... What?... I work fulltime and my eldest is in grade 1 and attends a dayhome before and after school. My 3 year old is at a daycare fulltime. I have missed physically being there for many of their firsts BUT both the daycare and the dayhome provide me with photos of new milestones that happen while I am at work. I have had them in such care for 2 years and both of my sons have grown so much and have become very social and well mannered children. They do have their moments of sibling rivalry I won't lie and I have moments of insanity but we make it work. Monday to Friday has become a very strict routine to be sure we get our sleep and eat properly.Saturday and Sunday are the kids down days and the boys get to pick what we do throughout the day. I cook meals ahead on the weekends and freeze them so I do not have to worry about what to cook the night of. Being a single working mom is tough but I have never felt so rewarded as I do watching my kids grow. They also understand that I have to work to put food on the table and they have a responsibility of going to school and learning new things everyday :)
