Whats faint line on pregnancy test?

I hasn't got my period in 2 weeks from the day it supposed to start (45 days after my last period), so I took a pregnancy test. The result turn out to be 2 line with one quite faint line. I heard a lot said the hormone will rise after a few day, so I retook the test about 3 days later (even though it's 2 weeks already and the result should already be clear by then). This time I got even more faint line.



What could this mean?

My line was very faint and it turned out that I was about 1 and 1/2 weeks preg.

My First child I had a dark line, but my second child was very faint line and was still positive and that was with taking the test four days before I was supposed to...Good luck and Congrats...

That is exactly what my first one looked like when I got pregnant. I was not sure, so I waited a few days and retested. It was darker after a few days. YUP I was prego. (sigh) It was AWESOME!!

There is a control line and a test line. If one line you're not pregnant. If there are two lines, even if the second one is barely visible, you are pregnant. You can have a false-positive test, but you will never have a false negative. My suggestion is to go to the doctor for a blood test, because most likely you are pregnant. Your body has to be producing a specific pregnancy hormone for the test to read positive.

I had 2 test with light dots across that if they connected would have been a line. Didn't know what it meant so went out and bought the cheapest brand test out there and that one was easy to read positive. Mind you I also noticed my boobs hurt when I bent over. Hope it turns out the way you'd like it to.

take it form someone with 3 pregnancies 2 of which were faint lines and 1 no lines at all, you're pregnant! it's just early so the line doesn't darken, if you keep the test a little longer the line will darken

a faint line on a pregnancy test means the same as a faint period if its there you have it so if the line is there your pregnant...congrats dear!

My friend had a very faint line. She's 6 months pregnant now. Check in another week to make sure though.

I would say that you are prego....the only way that the line would show up is if the hormone HCG is in your urine....you are more likely to get a negative and be prego then get a positive and not be prego...i would wait a few days and test again....by then you should get a darker line in the test.....and then i would call the doctor office and make an appoinment....congrats and good luck....

the only way the line will show up is if you have the pg. hormone present -- the positive is never wrong from what i understand - you can get a neg. and still be pregnant if the hcg (i think is the hormone) isnt strong enough -- check it in a few days to be sure - or see the doctor. Congrats if you are!

it could mean anything! when i took a home pregnancy test, the line that was supposed to show that i was in fact pregnant was there but very very light...almost not noticeable. i didn't believe i was but my fiance said that if it's there, even a little at all, then it's positive! i didn't want to get my hopes up b/c we had been trying for a little while with no luck. so i went the next day to the dr and it was confirmed that YES, i was pregnant! but i know people that have had positive results and not be pregnant and vice versa. if there is a chance you could be pregnant, i would suggest going to a doctor's office so they can do a blood pregnancy test. those are never wrong! good luck!!
