What do you think of Nido. I heard that is also good for kids older that 1yr? is it true?

Thank you soo much mothers for your advices. I consulted the doctor first and wanted to hear from other mom's opinions before I can take a final decision as I am a first time mom with no experience. We learn everyday.

Whole milk, no formula, watered down juice, watered down tea, and watered down no sugar added drinks. My daughter only has milk and one juice cup a day, but on occasion I will give her sweet tea or a fruit punch of some kind.

I agree with the other moms 100%. Unless the doctor tells you to keep your child on formula it should be stoped at 12 months. Whole milk, water and 100% juice is what i always gave my 2 children.

Yes formula should be stopped at 12months unless your doctor recommends it. But water, milk and 100% juice (no more than 2-8oz glasses per day) should be included in your child's daily diet.

I agree, it is unusual to continue formula past the first year. My daughter has lactose issues, so she drinks whole milk from lactaid. It is pretty easy to find. That and watered down juice are all she drinks. Every once in a while I will give her some soymilk.

well, formula should be stopped at 12 months. usually you start them on whole cow's milk and juice and water by that time. if your doctor tells you to continue with formula, then do so, but i would just try whole milk, juice and water for your baby! if you think your baby is malnourished, you can give him pediasure but i would just stick to the suggestions i gave you! good luck
