I only have a little boy so I don't speak from experience, but I have to admit that part of me was relieved I had a boy because I too do think that girls are harder to raise than boys (and since I'm new at this parenting thing, I can use a break - haha). For me it's not so much girl's rebelliousness or attitude or anything along those lines that I think makes it that much harder, but more that there is so much pressure on girls so early on and so much more to worry about than with boys.

I think girls are much harder. It's the attitude and the as we call the smelling of themselves mood.

I only have boys also but I've always been told by people who have raised both, that girls are easier when their younger and harder when they hit their pre-teens/teens.

I think girls are easier in the beginning, but once they start thinking, and getting a mind of their own, they are much more stubborn, and moody.
