I have working nights. I am very thankful for my husband taking care of the kids. I hate it because the only time I see them is in the morning and it is for an hour. My husband gets my kids from school and then he has to do there homework with them feed them and bath them and put them to bed. I do not get to enjoy any of that. I work from3pm until 1:30am. My kids do not listen to me because I am never home. How can I get a better relationship with my kids. My husband said I need to start being a mom to them and be there for them but how do I do that when I work?

I would try a schedule change or maybe meet the kids for lunch at school on certain days to incorporate more time spent with the kids to build a bigger or stronger bond with them. Are you home on weekend?
