I am looking to get a jogging stroller. Does any one have any reccommendations? I am not a jogger. But I do live in a neighborhood with lots of curbs and broken sidewalks. We are also very active going to parks and the beach a lot. I want one with some suspenion that is not too heavy. A little color would be nice. I think I prefer rubber tires like a bike would have. Please help...

I have the baby trend expedition (target and babies r us carry it I know for sure) it's black/grey/orange. I love it. It has a nice size basket so I can do smaller grocery trips with it. It maneuvers really smoothly. And it has the big wheels that drive nicely on every surface I've tried so far. Also if you decide to jog with it, it has the option to lock the front wheel so it's not so jiggly. Only complaint is that it doesn't fold very mall, but for trips we use a cheap umbrella stroller if the big one's not necessary.

Bob Revolution SE comes with suspension, reliable brake, and large & durable 16" pneumatic tires that can sustain the air for a long time. You might want to check out this link to find out further details, images, and objective reviews: http://jogging-stroller-reviews.net/bob-...
Fyi, your LO should at least have a stable neck control/able to sit unassisted before s/he can be placed on a jogging stroller for a ride.

I LOVE my BOB stroller. I have the Ironman, for serious running, but they have so many kinds and colors. They have great suspensions and real tires - like a road bike. I haven't met anyone with a BOB that doesn't love it! Good luck

I like my jeep jogger for a inexpensive route or go with BOB for a higher end that has "all the bells and whistles."

I love the baby Jogger brand jogging strollers. I bought the one with the 20" wheels and found that the large wheel size, and its weight make it a great stroller for running, and dealing with curbs and broken sidewalks. They are much more expensive than baby trend and other cheaper versions, but the difference in weight is totally worth it. If price is an issue than search craigslist for a used one. You can usually find them in good shape. Just keep looking.

If you are looking to spend less buy one on Craig's List. I got a spendy brand name jogger for 50 bucks and in great condition.

We has a croozer 727 and love it. It also comes in a doulble version. This also converts to a regular stroller and a bike trailer. It is an amazing stroller, and its not like the chariot where you have to buy all the pieces. The Croozer comes with all attachments!

Oh my, it's been years since I've done this, but I'll try! They have better ones these days. There's one, I believe, by Eddie Bauer, really nice and pretty sturdy. Of course, you can find more variety if you google online at either Toys R Us, Target, Babies R Us, etc.

I don't have a brand name to give you...but Do get one that steers good around corners. I have a double running stroller...but i have to tilt mine back to go around sharp corners. I have to stop running to maneuver that turn. If it's a big curved turn then I can keep on running... good luck
