i did yoga before i got pregnant with my first baby and couldnt because i was on bedrest now with my second one i want to do yoga durring the pregnancy how should i go about that and do you know of any where i can do yoga like the Y?

Congrats, Kate! I did the Shiva Rea Prenatal Yoga DVD with my first pregnancy and I loved it. I plan on doing it during my current pregnancy, too, after I start feeling better. It's a very nice and easy video to follow (and I used to fall asleep at the end of it, too). Good luck! And welcome back to yoga! :)

Hi Kate, Congratulations! Better to take it easy first trimester, if your last pregnancy was a bit delicate.
Search local gyms and yoga studios in your area to find prenatal teacher (it's better to get certified teacher). If there are none in your area, then there are a number of good prenatal DVDs you can do at home. I would recommend a gentle style of prenatal yoga (Integral Yoga, Shiva Rea). i did prenatal yoga dvds at home. the one i did had variations for each trimester. i would have loved to have taken a prenatal yoga class and get feedback and instruction from a teacher but it wasn't in the budget. i'd search for a yoga studio for a prenatal class, especially if you've had issues in your past pregnancy, just for extra guidance on what to do and what to modify, etc.
