I need help to decide on the right type of Yoga class

Can anyone give me some advice on where to start with Yoga. I have never done it and I am moderately physically fit. I went on this Yoga site to see what was available and I see there is all these different types of classes. Any yoga experts out there that can recommend a good start.

Beginner classes are a nice place to start. I prefer Hatha yoga or those that deal with more alignment (Iyengar type classes). If you want stress free relaxing poses, try a gentle/restorative class or a yin class (deep stretch). If you want "regular" asanas (postures, like Warrior, Tree, Lotus, etc) try a Beginner or all level class. If you want a class where one pose flows into the next, try a Vinyasa class. actually i'm not an expert, but still i think this can help u a bit. you can do "pranayam", which u can learn on you tube. u can watch pranayam by swami ramdev (english). it is the most beneficial thing. i myself've started doing it from last two mnths.
