Shouldn't we be over this stage!!??
we go to sleep consistantly at the same time each night
we do not pick him up when he cries, yet he cries every night for atleast 15 mins at about 3am then again at 5am.
What do we do to have a restful sleep?

oh no!!!! my baby will be 1 on sunday and she cries everynight at 3am and sometimes 5am as well...I was hoping she would outgrow it! Ill be following this post!!!

sounds like he has a internal clock sometimes when my son does that i will go in rub his head and tell him to go to sleep 5 secounds and i did do the cry out method but sometimes its quicker to just tell him to go to sleep lol good luck.

he might be having nightmares. my daughter, who is 16 months, goes to sleep very well at night but sometimes at night she will cry in her sleep because she is having a nightmare. just be proud you don't have my sister's son! when he was younger he would scream all night. and he would be screaming in his sleep. the doctors told my sister that it was "night terrors" a.k.a nightmares and that he would grow out of it.
