I had my first child almost 2 years ago and am now pregnant with my 2nd child, I started feeling the signs earlier with this pregnancy and I am just wondering if pregnancy is harder the 2nd time around. So I'm asking how was your 2nd pregnancy? better? worse?

I am 5 months pregnant with my second child. My first born which is my son will be 3 in Feb., and thus far I think this pregnancy seems more special! I didn't feel my son move until almost 23wks and then 2 wks later I had him. My son was born at 25wks at 1lb 2oz, so emotionally this pregnancy is harder because I am creeping up on that time again, and just want to be able to carry my daughter alot longer this time! And I started feeling her move at 16wk-17wk mark, so thats why I say its alitte more special this time! My morning sickness came and left within weeks which was nice because with my first I was sooo sick, and this time around I am WAY more emtional, so some things differ, but pregnancy is always different from person to person and from the 1st to the 2nd and so on! Good luck ladies, this is a very exciting time for us all :)

Hi Richelle! Well My daughter just turned 2 as well and i am 6 months pregnant with my second. Well this pregnancy was just as bad as the first one at first, but after i was done with all of the morning sickness everything was great! I have noticed that I was more active and of course had more energy this time around. I think that every pregnancy is different. Everything will happen a little earlier than it did with the first and sometimes that isn't that great, but what can you do. Take care!

I had my son almost 2 years ago also. I am due June 19th with my second. I think it is harder because this pregnancy is giving me more crap like nausea. Also I am a full time student a have an almost 2 year old to chase after. Congrats!

My son just turned one in early Jan, and I'm expecting this one in early July. As for it being harder.. not for me. This time I haven't had morning sickness, severe mood swings (when I was pg with my son I would wake up in the morning crying, just because), although my breasts have been more tender. That's about the only thing that's been harder. I hope everything evens out for all of you!

I don't think the 2nd pregnancy is worse, it's just different. With my son i had no problems what so ever, with my daughter i had terrible back pains. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and i gotta say this is the worst pregnancy yet. I was sick for 6 weeks non-stop, now slowly getting better at 12 1/2 weeks and i also have the back pain and i'm always tired....

i just think the 2nd or 3rd or even 4th pregnancy is more difficult b/c you also have another child or children to take care of and that leaves you less time to rest and concentrate on yourself.

I'm 4 months pregnant with my second. My daughter is currently turning 1yr old. I definitely feel like this is harder overall this time because I cannot get the rest and relaxation that I had before I was chasing her around. My nausea was worse this time but didn't last as long as my first. With my first I also had bad angry mood swings- this time I just cry over everything. I'm bigger and more uncomfortable earlier this time. I don't have the nosebleeds that I had with my first but I get horrible headaches now. I'm a lot hungrier this time but I have worse food aversions than last time.

I sure do! Except I am more sick this time around than last. I am always hungry but seems like nothing sounds good. I don't eat much when I am hungry. I do alot of snacking which helps alot with the hunger. I pee alot more and feel the cramps more too. Its crazy. When are u due?

The same!! I feel so much hungrier and I have to run to the rest room a lot more than I did this early in my last pregnancy. The stretching pains are happening earlier and they hurt worse and cramps are the same. I feel more tired than I did this early in the pregnancy also. Although I haven't had morning sickness as bad as before and my breasts aren't as tender as the first time. My appetite just seems to be getting out of control though, I feel like all I do is eat, and the worst part is nothing really sounds good! Do you have any of the same things going on?

We can experience this together. I am 3 months pregnant with my second. I think this pregnancy is harder for me than my first. That is how I feel so far. How are you feeling?
