Adult interaction... or lack thereof.

I love my kids... I love spending time with my kids. However, there are times when I would like to go out have a drink and socialize. My boyfriend always has friends over and sometimes I feel left out. When my daughter was born some of my friends just quit trying to make plans with me because they figured I wouldn't be able to go out. Now that I have two kids it's very rare to even plan a lunch date with someone. It's frustrating to be sitting at home and when my boyfriend gets home from work 3-4 of his friends are right behind him ready to jam in the garage. He still has a social life... How do I get mine back when I can't even get out of the house to make new friends?

make plans with a friend and tell ur bf. when the day comes just go. he will take care of the kids because what choice will he have. u deserve ur time off and sometimes us moms just need to take it!!

I don't know how old your kids are, but one of the best suggestions I can make is go to playgroups with them. you'll be able to find new friends that way. I'm a 23 year old mom and I've found quite a few friends through play groups who also have kids around my oldest childrens age.
