So I am wondering how long after you had your baby did your swelling subside? I had MAJOR swelling in my feet but that has gone away. BUT I still cannot fit my wedding ring on my finger and I am wonder about how much longer will this swelling be here (granted I know every person is different). I NEVER had any of this with my son, so this is all new to me.

Thanks!

I could get my wedding bands back on right after I got home from the hospital. But that may be because I live in Canada and had my son in November, so it was cold. Now in July I'm finding my wedding bands are a little snug but that would be because of the heat. I also drink A LOT of water. I dont know were you live but if its like me and the summers are so hot and the winters are so cold, you body changes with temperature. I would suggest drink a lot of water and wait until the summer is over and you get colder weather to re size your rings.

I do know a girl whos fingers never went back to normal size. So who knows. Were your wedding rings on a chain for now. I hope they go back for you.

My son is 3mos My feet swelled so BAD, it scared me...they went down about 2mos ago, and my fingers still didnt go back down. I have read that drinking water can help with the swelling, as well as cutting your salt intake...I LOVE SALT..lol so that has been the hardest thing for me, so i am hoping that all works for me. If not then I to will have to get my wedding ring re~sized....

I had my son 3 months ago and I still can't get my wedding ring back on. I think my fingers are still swollen and the humidity where we live hasn't been helping. I have talked to people who say their fingers never did go back to the size they were before...I've been looking into getting my rings re-sized, just in case.
