I dident have a hard time sleeping until about 8 months but my doctor told me to take 100mg of Magnesium before bed, It worked wonders, and will also help with the night time leg cramps :)
speak to your doctor about it, it worked for me!

I would sleep with my leg over my husband's back to relieve my joint pain.

I had to use a body pillow under my tummy and between my knees to help me sleep or i just used pillows and slept in a recliner....

I had the boppy body pillow (not the one used for nursing) and that worked great. By the end I had so many pillows my husband complained he couldn't find me in the bed! I used that one and a pillow from my sofa shoved behind my back, so I was wedged in. I have also heard sleeping in a recliner helps. I didn't have one, but by nine months I had about seven pillows piled on my bed, so I basically slept at a high incline.

I heard that if you have a couch and you take out the middle cushion you can sleep with your stomach in the hole but i didn't have a couch so i just slept on my side in my recliner!
