can check out my modest little recipe blog, it's all been kitchen tested at my house, and only the good ones make the cut, my rating scale is wether or not it's all eaten within 1-2 days :)

I have been trying some recipe's from Campbells.com and there are some very good recipe's on there. Here's a few that I like:

15 minute Chicken and Rice Dinner
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (Regular or 98% Fat Free)

1 1/2 cups water

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 cups uncooked instant white rice

2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets

1.Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
2.Stir the soup, water, paprika and black pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil. Stir in the rice and broccoli. Reduce the heat to low. Return the chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle the chicken with additional paprika and black pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked though.

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo
1 package (16 ounces) linguine

2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets

3 tablespoons butter

6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/2 pounds), cut into cubes

1 can (26 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular or 98% Fat Free)

1 cup milk

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1.Prepare the linguine according to the package directions in a 6-quart saucepot. Add the broccoli during the last 4 minutes of the cooking time. Drain the linguine mixture well in a colander.

2.Heat the butter in the saucepot over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until well browned, stirring often.

3.Stir the soup, milk, cheese, black pepper and linguine mixture in the saucepot and cook until the chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.

salsa chicken... take chicken breasts, season with savoury and garlic and black pepper. put on baking sheet in oven 375 for about 20 mins, flip chicken bake for another 10 mins. spoon salsa over chicken, top with grated cheese and broil 5-10 mins mmmm so good!

I write a blog and every Friday I do a 5 on Friday post which is a 5 ingredient meal. I also post quick and easy meal other times too but this is a ongoing series I do. I am a mother of 4 (18,12,3,7mo) so it has been difficult to find meals that EVERYONE will like and stay within our budget. oven fried chicken....



chicken(however much you want and whatever cut you like..lol.)

Bread crumbs(i like the contadina roasted garlic and savory spices)



season chicken however you please, then roll in bread crumbs, put in oven pre-heated to 400 for one and a half hours and there ya go..i like simple..

My two current favorite recipes, both super easy, pretty healthy and SOOOO good!



Pulled Beef:

1 lean beef roast 3-5 lbs, throw it in the slow cooker on high heat with 1 package of DRY italian salad dressing mix and 2 cans of french onion soup. Let cook for a few hours before turning on low. 8 hours later, add one more package of italian dressing mix and cook an additional hour and/or until the meat easily pulls apart with 2 forks. Shred it up, slap it on a bun (REALLY good on whole weat buns) and enjoy!



Broccoli Hotdish:

1 cup shredded or cubed chicken or turkey (turkey gives it a much richer flavor) 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup mayo, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 can low-fat low-sodium cream of chicken soup, 1-2 cups steamed broccoli florets. Toss the broccoli, turkey and cheese, throw it in a casserole dish. Mix the wet ingredients together and spread on top. I add bread crumbs or croutons on top. Bake at 350, uncovered for 30 minutes and enjoy! (I should mention, my poultry is always cooked BEFORE I add it,I saute or bake it to keep it lean) Super delicious!



I'll definately have to try out the meatballs, those sound soo good!

O man Julie that sounds amazing!!! I'm definately going to try it. Thanks for the websites guys. I found a few that I'd really like to try.

Here's a super simple one that is great for kids, busy moms, and parties.....
1 package frozen homestyle meatballs
1 12 oz bottle chili sauce
1 120z jar of grape jelly
Join all together in a crock pot and let jelly melt. Let cook until youre ready to eat.
These are amazing!

My lates favorite casserole dish, it's easy and yummy!

A layer of cooked rice, a layer of broccolli, a layer of fish (I use tilapia), then cover it with a can of cream of mushroom soup. Make sure to mix the water in the soup, and I also like to add some garlic and pepper in it. Then bake it at 375 until the fish is fully cooked, normally about 45 min or so, depending on the thickness.

i have never ever made a recipe from her website that i did not like. plus she uses step by step photos of pretty much every recipe. thats a link to her alphabetical recipe index but there's a menu bar at the top you can use to sift through more specific categories.... and she's a mother! haha

most posters are women... and most recipes are real. not fancy shmancy gourmet food network recipes. i like to pick whatever category and then sort by rating. those are normally the best.
