selling cosmetics like body shop or avon can help but can be alot of work. i've set up an ebay store. i sell our outdated clothes and things like a breast pump that i got given but didnt want. otherwise delivering junk mail, or if your thrifty then maybe web design.

I work from home and it is great. You choose your own hours and their is no selling. You dont have to pay for daycare or travelling expenses and all you do is refer other moms to work from home. I started to sell Arbonne products about 3 months ago. I have a 17 month old son and I am a stay at home mom. I really enjoy the products and they are fabulous. It is a great company to work with/for. Arbonne similar to other cosmetic type companies has consumable products so they are in higher demand than those like pampered chef and tupperware that aren't consumable therefore not in too much demand. I would suggest you research out the network marketing companies and see which one fits your needs and expectations. Arbonne worked the best for me but it may be different for you. That is the course I go through but i have been doing it through a community college. I love it and best thing is, is that it is real. Very very difficult but i love it. I am going to be a MT though.

Hi. Like i have said doing medical Trans. from home is great. I go to Everett Community wich is in WA but can all be done online. You can do financial aid, in my case i recieved a full grant which means I pay nothing. It is somehting you can try it is only a 9mon. prgogram but is well worth it. The nice thing is you can work anywhere in the US.

Right now, I'm a stay at home mom of a baby girl. I'm taking a online course for Medical Claims and Billing through U.S. Career Institute. When you graduate, you have the option of working from home or in a office. You can make up to $40,000 a year. I never trusted any of those "work from home" jobs that were posted online. They all seem like spam to me. I did sell Avon for a bit, that didn't work out. Good luck to all.

I'm just like Tara I need a job,but want to stay home with my daughter. I don't want to have to put her in day care. In all reality I really can't afford day care at this point anyway. I need to be able to make money,but save money at the same time.  Any suggestions?

I was always worried about getting into the wrong stay at home business but I recently started going to school for Medical Transcritping through Everett Community in WA. Love it but it is hard. It is a 9mon. program but can make good money from $9-20 an hour. Good luck!

Hey Tara! Vera is doing something like medical transcription for a psychologist or psychiatrist. Basically, she types up reports from tapes. Send her an email and she'll give you the details. She does it during early mornings or late at night when the kids are asleep. A friend of mine suggested being an online tutor through tutor.com. She has a friend doing that and he loves it! I'm going to look into it as well. Currently, I'm working from home for my job and I can tell you it isn't easy. It's really hard to focus on the job and take care of the baby. I'm looking for a babysitter/nanny who can come to the house for about 4 hours/day 2-3 days/week to watch the baby while I get any calls done or get big chunks of work done. Good Luck!
