"Thank You"

[Verse 1]
There's no greater love
There's no greater joy
Then when I felt your life growing inside of me
God has given me a gift so precious
He must have made you from a cloud and angel's wings

[Bridge]
Now that you've come into my life
Without you I know I can't survive
No... 'cause you're the reason that I live each day

[Chorus]
And I wanna thank you for all that your are
Thank you for being my light when it's dark
Thank you for bringing me joy each day
I'm loving you more than words can say

Thank you for givin' my life a new song
Givin' me reason to wanna stay strong
Thank you for everything that you've done
You are my life, my soul, my son

[Verse 2]
You've come and changed my life
'Cause what I feel inside
Is a joy I know I've never had before
And though I'll make mistakes
There's something you should know
I dedicate my love and life to you

[Bridge]
Now that you've come into my life
Without you I know I can't survive
'Cause you're the reason that I live each day

[Chorus]
And I wanna thank you for all that your are
Thank you for being my light when it's dark
Thank you for bringing me joy each day
I'm loving you more than words can say

Thank you for givin' my life a new song
Givin' me reason to wanna stay strong
Thank you for everything that you've done
You are my life, my soul, my son

lol, i know so many, if you want me to write them out for you or want more then let me know haha. all those little tunes have either hand actions or movements that involve them to sit on your thighs in sitting position. haha

this one can be for either sex, I've sung it to my son for almost 3 years now and he really enjoys it now that he is older.
(while bouncing him on my legs/knee)
Riding a lil pony into the town.
You better watch out!
Or you might fall down.

The song I have sang to my son since he was less than a month old and still do now is Faith Hill's Wish for You. It is a great song to dedicate to any child because it talks about the life you wish for them and the way they will have bad moments in their life with love and relationships but you wish them the best after all of it. You really should looook into that song if you have never heard it. When my son was under a year old i made a slide show with all his pictures from birth to about 6 months old (hundreds of them) with that song. I plan to give him the DVD when he is older. that song has so much meaning to me and when ever it is played he will crawl up in my lap and wrap his little arms around me and sing it with me.

I sing "You Are My Sunshine" to my son and when he's calmer, I just hum the tune. Usually does the trick for me. :-)

Theres a great song I sing with my daughter while bouncig her on my knee.

When I was young I sucked my thumb the day I went to sea,
All aboard the pirate ship and the captain said to me,
We're going this way, that way, over the deep blue sea,
A bowl of jelly to fill my belly yeah that's the life for me.

She loves it.

do you know the barney song?
all my kids love it..
especially my baby (15 months old :)...)
it goes like this:

I love you, you love me, were a happy family,
with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you,
won't you say you love me too..
if you don't know it, just google it, its a big purple dinosaur singing it :) you can't miss it.. hope this helps!

"Godspeed" by the Dixie Chicks. Love it, and it makes a great lullaby.
