Thanks girls. I really like the idea of cutting up magazines and making colages that sounds fun. I did all sorts of weird stuff whenever I was little lol! I played chair with my sister where he sat on each other and wiggled until we fell hahahhaa! It was fun though so ill try it with my kids and see how it goes hahaha!

There are some really great activities out there. When I get short on ideas I just google them. I have found all sorts of fun stuff, from paint recipies to outdoor activities. But when in doubt snuggling on the bed or couch with a good book and the kids is always fun. They enjoy it and we get to spend some quality time.

We paint using random household things as stamps, bake cookies with kiddy shaped cutters & the kids decorate them, give all the washable toys a bath in the tub, re-arrange the toy room, build forts, make a puppet show with their fav toys... Just think back to when you were little & what amused you on rainy days, chances are they will love hearing about what you used to get up to & would love to try it with you :)

baking is always fun, Washing windows or baby dolls, sorting buttons into colours, playdough, cutting up magazines and making collages, collecting things from around the garden

Build a fort in the living room and hang out. They love that! I know I did when I was younger and had to stay in. Arts and crafts with some cheerios or maccaroni is always fun to.

my sone will be 3 on my 1st and when we cant go outside or just want to watch a movie we pull out his mega blocks or his big legos and build things to hide his cars in. lol and if i am multi tasking like so many of us do he actually likes helping me seperate the laundry and we say our colors as go do it. goofy but works and keeps him busy.
