Anyone know of a reliable at home preg test? I keep getting faint lines and it is driving me crazy

I would try it as if you are pregnant you don't wanna stress over it, buy a cheap one as they al detect hcg levels in your urine. My first baby was confirmed with a pound test and it was the old school one so if its going to put your mind to rest do it, I took a test yesterday and it was neg so left it on side only to come home and see it was positive so I went an brought a double back of first response as it can tell u if u r up 2 6days before your missed period so if you can try and eat the same 1 ok. any kind of line whether faint or not means your pregnant :-) try waiting a few days for your hgc levels to rise as this is what it looks for when you pee on it (lol sorry) i know a couple of days will probably feel like a life time but atleast you'll know 4 sure. Good luck hun x

I had this same problem for about 2 days before it was REALLY there. everyone kept telling me "if it's there,it's there" If the line is just the faintest there it means the hormones are there just you might be early into your pregnancy. so chances are, you are! congrats!

Mine you could just make out and according to the doc I was already 8weeks then, if the second line shows even just barely it's positive!

If there is even the faintest second line...you are pregnant. Does not matter what test you get... as long as you can see another line...you are pregnant. If you want to be certain you can get a home test now that are digital, I believe First Response has one now that actually says either Pregnant or Not Pregnant! I would pretty much guarantee you are in fact pregnant, especially after taking 2 tests! Good luck

With my son that is 10 months old and the one I am carring now 3 months along all of the home test I took came from the dollar store and they have been just as acurret. Even if it is a faint positive it is still positive. All of the lines were dark for my son and all of the lines were very faint with this one. I think it all depends on the person and how much of the hormone they are producing.

i used walmart brand equate pregnancy test the test result for negative was I and positive + . but the line to make the plus sign was very feint. but in the directions it said it did not matter how visible the line was as long as it was there it was positive and mine was barely there and im now almost 6 months pregnant.

Thanks that is what I think. I feel like if the second line appeared at all then it must of picked up some trace of hormone. I just don't want to get all excited and then be depressed for two weeks due to a false positive.

Hun no matter how dark the line is if it's there it's there and if there is 2 line then your pregnant. I would just go to the dr next to confirm.
