Hi, I have a set of b/g twins that were born at 33 wks 6 days in 2008. At birth my daughter weighed three pounds twelve ounces and was 17 inches long, and my son weighed four pounds 10 ounces and was 18 inches long. My daughter is now a little over 30 pounds and is 36 and a half inches and my son is almost 32 pounds and 37 inches. They will be three in June. I was wondering what the average weight/ height of a child this age is?

my daughter was born 7 days late she weighed 8lbs 13oz and was 23 and 1/2 inches long. now she is 5 weighs 38 lbs and is 4 foot 3..i am 5'6

my daughter is 4 in april and is 42lbs and 3 ft 7 inches tall! i am 5ft 11 so cant exect her to be tiny!lol! it mostly goes on genes i think!

My daughter was born 10 days late weighing 8.51 lbs and 21.5 inches long. She is now 23 lbs 12 ozs and 34 inches tall. She is almost 15 months. Here is a great site to look at for the averages on kids height and weight. Just remember that your children may take a little longer to catch up as they were preemies. To me it sounds like they're both thriving and doing great! =) You should talk to your pediatrician though, they should be telling you at every checkup where your kiddos are on the growth chart.

From what you say about their height and weight, I would say they are average to above average. My daughter just turned 3 and she is 37.5 inches tall and 32 lbs.She was born at 41 wks and was 21 inches long and 7lbs 6oz. My husband is 6ft tall, but I am only 5 ft 2!!

That's true. I'm 5 foot 10 and my husband is 5 foot 11. I was just wondering about the weight/ height to see if they caught up to other kids.

My son is almost 4 years old and is only 31 pounds and 36 1/2 inches tall. I guess it really depends on how tall their parents are too.
