We're all moms here so I know what a baby needs but I need some ideas for like...a REALLY unique and special baby gift for a good friend mine. She's having a girl and it's going to be her last child and I'd like to get her something other than your average onesie set or pacifier holder. She has all the bedding and furniture and big stuff like that. Money isn't really an issue. I mean, I'd rather not spend like 300 bucks but it doesn't have to be super cheap either.

Anyone have any ideas?

I always buy my baby gifts online at www.CaliforniaCozy.com. They have a great selection of baby must-have's in different price ranges. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the ideas.  I think I am going to get her a day of pampering instead of something for the baby and offer to babysit the day she goes...

what about getting a cast of her pregnant belly? seen it done a few times and its amazing to see how big u rt when pregnant. you could also use the plaster of paris o do hand and feet prints of the baby when it arrives. x

yes a pamping day for her and your self might be just the ticket. before or after the baby is born. and it would make great memories!

as for just the baby... i usually pick a topic, bed... bath.. playtime.. and fill a fun basket those items ;)

I really likethe baby book it has i got. I swear it has everything you would ever want to remember and more. also lots of space for pics. And I knowyou want to get her sometihing really special, but really moms need the essentials, diapers, wipes, socks...stuff theyll use daily and often, but maybe you'll get some other ideas. Another thing I enjoyed that I received, was a gift certificate for  a massage. I know that isnt for baby, but it was wonderful about a month after I had my son to get out for some 'me' time...
