My husband and I have almost finished registering and I just feel like I am forgetting something. I know that every baby is different but I wanted to know for all of you moms out there..........What was the one thing that you could not live without / that you used the most when your baby was born?

The breast pump was an excellent suggestion! Whether you breastfeed or not, it is a must. And to go right along with that, do NOT forget Nursing Pads! They fit right inside of your bra and usually have a little sticker to keep them in place. I think some women "let down" more easily than others, and they will definitely helped me fight against wet shirts and embarrassment. Good luck to you and your baby!

A pack and play is a wonderful thing!  The upgraded version has a bassinette that pops in/out and has lights, music, and vibrations.  It is a wonderful thing and puts my little girl to sleep!

It would have to be her swing. It keeps her calm during the day when I need to get things done around the house. I even place it in front of my bathroom when I shower. The swing can lay back almost like a cradle so its cool for when she falls a sleep. I can let her nap without waking her to put her in her crib.

I would have to say her blanket. No matter how fussy she is (being only 6 months) as soon as she has "her" blanket shes good to go. We have a bright pink fuzzy one, so it catches her attention and its soft and warm.

wow. first you will get things you didn't think of and didn't want. you don't know if you need it until you actually do. but i LOVED the onesie pajamas. the ones that look like a long nightgown. So easy to change diapers in the middle of the night. and the sleep sack was great to.

a rocker is really good. cos you can just strap them in and you dont have to hold them all the time, and some of them come with a toy bay so they can look at the toys n play if theyre at that stage. also those mats with all the bright colours lights n sounds, the ones with toy dangling of them.

Extra covers for my boppy pillow!  My daughter spat up a lot and it was nice to have an clean one ready to put on if needed.

Oh also a breast pump.  Whether you're trying to get your milk to come in faster in the first few days or relieving engorgement a good pump is a must.

hmm, just one thing?  Cuddly wrap.  Its super comfortable and easy and the only way I got anything done for the first 8 months of my daughters life when she insisted that I hold her all the time was to have her strapped to me.
