I have about 10 days left until my due date, and the last 2 days or so it's been taking me until late evening to feel my baby move 10 times in 2 hours. Up until now, she has been kicking like crazy. I'm wondering if it's just because she is getting bigger so space is limited, or maybe she's moving further down???

That is very normal. The baby is not only bigger with less room to move but has most likely settled farther down into your uterus which means that she/he is now farther back from the fron wall where you feel most of the movement. as long as you don't go more than 12hrs without movement. If you do contact your OB just to be sure. Good luck in the days to come.

Your probably right about the movement but just to be safe you should get in contact with your doctor. I remember when that happened to me a my doctor told me to lay on either my right side or left and concentrate on feeling movement and i would feel some. The further down they go the less movement you will feel.

Seems pretty normal to me...she is just getting too big to move like crazy. If you are concerned AT ALL, please call your OB. They can do a quick check if you are worried.

I was told they move less in the last few weeks because they don't have a lot of room. A day or two before you deliver, you may stop feeling them move completely. Nothing is wrong with them, they are just getting ready to come into the world!

It's likely that she has no room to move around. This is completely normal at this stage in your pregnancy. Good luck and best wishes!

Sometimes they just run out of room and dont tend to move as much, i would always panic when my baby didnt move as much. If you are really consintrating on something your baby could still be making the normal movements but you just may not feel them as much. Also because you are really far along your baby wont make as many big movements as she did before. If you dont feel your baby moving at all for a day or so then you should contact your doctor and they will hook you up to that little machine to moniter movements. Good luck with the labour :)

hiya, it is more then likely because she is ready to come and hasnt got any room left to move in there anymore... with my son hes head was engaged but i could feel him moving it it was a weird sort of feelin. however he was a speedy first birth...i had him in 2 hrs and he didnt move down properly unitl the actual birth.. u may be different but im pretty sure its cos of the limited space...
