My little girl is about 4 months and I was wondering how often you bathe your little ones?

I have 2 boys, 3yrs, and 9 months. I bathe them every other day, unless we do something outside. My oldest sweats, A LOT. So yeah! And there isnt much my 9 month old can get into. So every other day!

I have always bathed my little guys every night, it's a part of their bedtime routine.

My baby is 6 months, and I will not bathe her everyday. I try to bathe her every 3 days!! She has the softest skin because of it. If I apply sunscreen or she has a accident that needs more attention I will bathe her.

A Dr will tell you that every two to three days is adequate. I have a 22 month old and a 5 month old. I bath them almost every night as part of our bedtime routine. They really enjoy bath time and it is a great way to settle them down. I know many mothers commented that bathing more then every other day would dry out baby's skin but we do not have that problem. After their baths I put lotion on them and give them a little massage with the lotion. They love it! Bath time is one of their favorite times of the day and they love to get all lotioned up afterward. I feel it helps to settle them and my kids sleep that much better. My Dr agrees that as long as I am not seeing skin problems like dry skin or eczema that bathing them everyday is not a problem.

I bathe my children every night. I have since they were born. They are now 2 and 5. I think it helps set a routine. They know when it is bath time it is time to get settled down because bed time is right around the corner.

At that age, no more than every other day because she had such dry skin and was getting dried out. Now that's she's older and has been feeding herself, we need a bath just about every night after dinner.

At 15 months I still bathe my daughter every other day so she won't have any dry skin problems. But it does depend on how dirty she gets and when. Going to the park? No exceptions!

My daughter is 3 months old and I try to bathe her everyday as part of her bedtime routine. To avoid dry skin, I only wash her with soap every other day or every two days. However, I avoid using soap with harsh chemicals in it so even if I decide to wash her every day she does not get dry skin. Plus, we do massages with lotion before putting her in her jammies.

My daughter is five months old. I try to bath her ever day but that because she smells like formula. My fiance is trying to get her to hold her bottle so she gets it under her neck sometimes if she really doesn't want the bottle. Sometimes I'll do it every other day it depends. I also have a five year old and a almost four year old and I try to give them baths every night too. It depends though because sometimes it dries out their skin too much and I always put lotion on them after bath time but sometimes they are still really dry. Good LUck!

My daughter is 7 1/2 months. Bathtime was a nightmare for us to begin with - she hated it! And she had really dry skin, so we did it about twice a week. Sometimes only once coz it was really stressful (crying, wriggling etc.... ) since then we discovered she was happier in the bath with me, so then it became 2-3 times a week. Now she has a bath seat (which is wonderful) and has a bath on a Sunday, Wednesday and Friday (roughly) so 3 times a week. Her dry skin has also gone thanks to the stuff that goes in her bath - hydromol - very good stuff. I think bath time probably depends a lot on your lifestyle and when it's best to fit it in, as well as how dirty your baby is. I can't imagine doing it every night! It's a lengthy process in our house as she loves it now :-)

I was doing it every day...but his skin got so dry that we moved to every other, at least for the winter. Now that we're in summer and he gets dirty/sweaty more often, we are back to once a day.

Usually every other day but sometimes its everyday if she gets especially messy or we are going somewhere. My daughter is 8 mo. but the schedule has been the same since about 3-4 mo old.

Mine are now 7 and 10. From the time I brought them home, they usually got a bath every night as part of their bedtime routine. My now 10 year old would start getting fussy and fidgety around his bathtime if he didn't get it. They both also enjoyed getting baby lotion put on after the bath and the lotion them smell so good and kept their skin soft.

all my kids have showers every night, my 4mth old loves having showers with either me or her dad and enjoys the drying off and playing on the bed part. It's all part of the routine in our house. Dinner, shower, tv (or other activity if time allows) then bed.

I bathe my daughter (15 months) as needed. The best schedule is about once a week for her since she has bad eczema. If she is only a little messy, i will let her play in the water, but I try not to wash her too often, cuz she will break out.

I have bathed my little one every day since she was about a week old. She loves the water and it tires her out so she sleeps so much better, but also to make sure she's really clean in her diaper areas. Sometimes I lotion her up to make sure she's not drying out, but she hasn't really needed it for months.

My 2 year old boy is everyday. My 7 month old girl is every other day or every 3 days. When she can sit up on her own, it will become every day cause I will be able to bathe them together. I did bathe my 2 year old everyday when he was little. My daughter gets the short end of the stick because my son usually needs a bath everyday cause of the dirt, by the time I am done with him, I am too lazy to do her every night. Just use lots of lotion for the dry skin issue.

my little boy is 4 months old too :) I bath every afternoon, just for the relaxation and enjoyment he gets, it also makes him burn a bit of energy and he goes to sleep straight after his bath. We have a fire going in winter so the house is really warm and I dont exactly 'wash him' so to speak I do that about 2 times a week, I Just let him enjoy and 'swim' :) its now his favourite time of the day... oh and he has lovely skin, not dry at all.. and he's never got cradle cap either.

And "spot cleaning" as needed.

at 4 months I bathed my son once or twice a week. On the rare occasion that he had a big blowout diaper, i would bathe him then, but babies really don't need to have big soapy baths every day, or even every other day, and it could actually effect their skin if they do.

When my daughter was 4 months I was bathing her about 2-3 times a week. This past week though has been very hot so have been putting her in the bath every day. I know I shouldn't but it helps cool her down for bed, plus I use baby oil on her anyway.

My daughter is 9-months old and when she was smaller I would bathe her every 2-4 days as needed. But now, it summer so everyday, sometimes twice a day. I find that she has a warmer body temp than normal. She can be under the air all day and her body is always warm. But she now takes showers with me and she loves it! She will sit in the tub while I shower than I sit down with her and bathe her. Although she is frequently in the bath/shower, I don't use soap or shampoo every time, only as needed.

When my girls were babies {their 3 and 1, Now!} they got only water baths every day. I would wash them with soap every other day, when they got dirty or if we were going out. Their hair I washed once a week... Now they both have to take 2 baths a day bcuz they love to run, play in the grass, swim in the pools and I use sun screen for this South Florida Sun so they definitely need it everyday!!!

Well lets see I give my 3 year old a bath everyday because he is always running around playing in the dirt and drops his food on his cloths. My 1 year old daughter gets a bath either everyday or every other day depending on what she does and what s he gets into that day. Then my 6 month old son gets a bath every other day unless we plan on going somewhere. In that case I will give him a bath before we leave the house.

I bath my little one every night as its part of her bedtime routine. She loves it as she can be free splashing about in the water. I don't often use soap as she's never really that dirty. Lily is now 10 months old and sits in a bath seat pretty happily.

I try to bathe my 4 month old every other day but as long as i can get 2 a week i am happy. On days she doesnt get a bath i just wipe her down with a diaper wipe or a wet washcloth and then put baby lotion on her before getting her dressed in the morning. She is my 5th baby and i have done this with every one of them and they have been fine with it. I dont bathe everyday until about age 1.
