Being overdue

Hi Nikki, Congrats on th baby!!! It gets very boring just waiting,because I'm sure you have got everything all set up for the baby by now.To waste some of the time I actually wrote in a diary about my pregnancy towards the end,I go on to complain about it's almost Easter and I have his basket all ready and waiting and he doesn't want to cooperate with me.I also go on to say he finally showed me that he's a boy(I found out the day I went in for a stress test because he only wanted to show me his bum from the beginning but it was a good thing because I went into labor 2 hours later).It's nice to look back and read all that now and my oldest who is 7 thinks it's so funny.If that doesn't help just daydream about what she's going to look like.The worst part about having to wait is once she is born time flies by way to fast.

OMG you poor thing! What a horrible time you had!! Glad all is ok now though! In England they go up to 14 days overdue before they induce you unless there is something wrong with the mum or the baby, nothing is, the baby is moving fine, her heartbeat is perfect and Im still healthy. Just a waiting came. Im getting induced on day 13 of being overdue. ITs so frustrating, especially sitting here seeing her cot just sitting there waiting for her lol.

HI Nikki, Welcome! Name is Lakyia doesnt matter how you pronounce it because I cant hear you to correct you lol... But anyway my daughter is 3months close to 4 (23rd) I know exactly what you are going through. First they give you to due dates.mines were june 22nd and june 13th. I hoped for the 13 now I worked until the 5th of june not by choice lol everyone kept saying youre going to bust youre ready and I believed the same. I was always on the net looking up EVERYTHING from diarrhea to not really being hungry anymore. IT just said diarrhea was a way to empty the body to prepare it for delivery I was excited believing it was ALMOST time..NOT even the case During my pregnancy I was cautious and aware of things I wanted and did not want including being induced epidurals c-sections the whole nine. I wanted to take the ALL NATURAL route...June 13th came and went it was one of the most frustrating days of my life it rained and everything. Now here at june 15th I believe at the ob's office and i wasnt nearly dilated she then told me if nothing happen by that friday the 19th come in on the 22nd to be induced. DANG!! 1 unwanted not avoided. Nothing happened monday came had a good meal and headed to the hospital @ maybe 4o'clock with bags. doctor came in induced me with cervadil & pitocin @6. around 10 the new doc on shift told me they were taking it out because it affected her heartbeat. now what? Ntn I could do because I still hadnt dilated any with the cervadil but pitocin was making contracting every 5mins..strange? the next morning @6 o'clock the doc broke my water believing i would then dilate and have my baby..now its the 23rd. im anxious the checked me about every 3hrs still no change...time went on no baby getting scared now contractions were a min and so apart...it was 6;45 the last doctor finally a lady with smalls hands checked me a final time after she had just performed a c-section and decided I was a half of a centimeter dilated BUMER! before she came in they told me an epidural was needed maybe it would stimulate the dilation I gave in. 2nd Unwanted arrived..double Bumer the epidural DID NOT WORK @ALL FELT EVERY CONTRACTION ALTHOUGH NOT VERY PAINFUL...They did ntn but do another one still no change so when the doctor came she gave me the most terrifying new...that I would HAE TO GET A CSECTION.. 3RD AND final unwanted!! so since the epidural hadnt worked I had to get what they call a spinal so less painful then an epidural that Ive gotten 2x...but shes here now I know it was a long story but you should not be 9 days overdue past your latest due date and Im sure you want a natural vaginal birth but they should induce you NOW. the baby is still growing and getting less room in the amniotic sac..its dangerous and unhealthy.. come out baby explore the world outside the womb...lol
