I used Dr. Brown's bottles after trying to breastfeed for 5 weeks but my milk NEVER came in. Pumped and feed what I could for those few weeks. I am not sure I want to use Dr. Brown's again because of the extra parts it contains. I will have a two year old and then a newborn. I want something really easy to put together and reduces spit up. What do you think are the best and simplest bottles? I have been looking at the Nuk and Born Free ones. Any suggestions?

I used the playtex drop ins and vent-air bottles, the drop ins were really easy to wash and clean the vent-air are nice because you don't have to buy liners. I have been looking into the born free for my next baby they seem to have more parts to wash but I haven't used them. If you are going to pump both playtex and born free sell an adapter to fit onto the medela pumps so you can pump into the wide neck bottles.

i like the tommee tippee bottles, had no problems with them, its designed to mimic the mothers breast so maybe these ones will work for you. whatever you choose to try, good luck :) x

for breast pump type deal medella. I breast feed and formula feed. When my child was 2 weeks old i started using the medella bottles as well as the born free bottle we got with our toysrus gift - used slow flow nipples. My child is now 4 months and 3 weeks old and we use nuby bottles. They are great. they dont excrete milk unless he is sucking on the nipple - the bottle holds up to 300ml, are easy for him to hold himself and have lil bumps on the nipple to massage there gums. Bottles should be changed every 3 months. you can buy a package of 3 nubys for under $15. I love them and so does my baby
