bottle vs jarred food

Around 4.5 months i started my son on jarred food, and he loves it. Now thats all he wants he wants nothing to do with bottles. I give him a bottle before his jarred food and he plays with it than fusses until i give him his food. Im worried hes not getting the nutrients from the formula now. He probably gets about 12-16oz of formula in 24 hours. he has about 3 jars of food and 3 cups of cereal.

i would start t worry if hes not growing or gaining weight. with my children once food was brought in the bottles went down as they aren't that hungery and are fuller longer with food then just liquid. take care

Cereal is fortified with vitamins and minerals so he is getting the stuff he needs, plus the jarred food has a lot of vitamins. I used to mix the formula into the cereal. I mean if he's growing normally then I wouldn't worry about it. Once we started our daughter on solids she didnt have as much formula as she would and the doctor said that was fine.
