Why are they so prejudiced with baby clothes? I feel like my daughter's whole wardrobe is PINK! It is very hard to find cute clothes for my daughter that aren't pink. How bout some blue or green girl clothes? lol

i have a boy & no offense but I hate pink! If i would of had a girl I would of dressed her in blues & greens anyways! It's just an easier way to judge if someone has a boy or a girl. There's yellows for girls too!

Carters makes a lot of blues and greens. My daughter wears all colors. Blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, red. I've noticed pink and brown is popular right now in toddler clothing.

Seriously! I couldn't agree more. And why is it all little boy clothes are blue, orange, green and brown? And dark! I nanny my cousin's son and she kept dressing him in these dark clothes. I thought she was just being weird and I decided to get him a whole bunch of colorful clothes for Christmas. I went to three different stores and I found the same dark colors every time! It was depressing.

Jumping Beans has some awesome clothes! Circo, Kola Baby, and Amy Coe are some of my personal fave brands if you want it to be easy on the wallet. Some of the higher-end fashions have so many creative features and are def. worth the money if your baby(ies) are modeling or even holiday/milestone photos.

Try Macys and specialty boutiques. I prefered my daughter in pink but we also had plenty of femenine clothes in other colors. I had no problem finding it for my daughter. Baby boys are much harder to shop for!

I think you have to look around and it also depends on what state you live in. But I've seen purples, blues, yellows, greens for girls. Try babysrus, they have some really pretty stuff or if thats pricey try target or look online.

target is good about having yellows and greens for girls. at least down here in S.A, TX. but old navy, baby gap, gymboree and the children's store are really good as well.

I have a baby boy and when I go shopping for him, 3/4 of the shop is girls clothes. My son has quite alot of green stuff, didn't buy them on purpose, just happened that way! We didn't find out the sex so I had alot of white, yellow and green to start. His playmat, bouncer, walker are also green! Because usually if you have a look at that stuff its either blue, pink or green.

I agree, I love to put her in pretty pink princess clothes, but not every day.

the ultrasound tech said i was having a boy... so i shouted it from the roof tops!

turned out it was a girl... so we have a shit load of blue and green clothing.

didnt stop me from using it but! occassionally i get a random stranger tell me how beautiful my baby boy is... i just smile and say 'she is isnt she'.

i hate it too! and it's so ridiculous that people only look at color to determine the sex of a baby too instead of the style of the outfit. when my daughter was first born i had this adorable outfit with Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi, on it. it was a white onsie with frilly baby blue sleeves and had a jean diaper guard with the same frilly baby blue stuff on it and someone congratulated me on my little BOY! in my opinion the outfit was very girlie but since it had blue on it the person automatically thought "boy".

i get a lot of my clothes as hand-me-downs so i am lucky enough to be able to spend a little bit more money on other colors of clothing but most of the hand-me-downs are pink =(. my favorite colors on my daughter are purple and green because she has beautiful green eyes that stand out more with these colors.

What is funny is that just over 100 years ago it was completely backwards. Boys wore pink because it was the lesser form of the masculine red and blue was seen as feminine. Screwed up a little bit? I like putting my daughter in greens (my favourite colours), reds, blues and purples.

some of my favorite outfits of my daughters are red and babyblue not easy to find but it is possible without shopping in pricey department stores, kohls has some and if you go for sales can be really cheap, i dont know how you feel about it but i have a lot of luck in consignment shops like goodwill and selvation army

The designs on baby clothes are kinda sexist too. I love puppy dogs but almost everything with puppies is for boys. I do love pink but my daughter has alot of neutral clothes and even some stuff that probably is for boys, I just add a bow or headband:)
