Breakfast help!! I have a 15 month old who doesn't want to eat her once favorite things for breakfast! I would love some new things to feed her besides peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and fruit. What is your little ones favorite breakfast?

She probably just got tired of eating the same thing, mine did the same thing, just try maybe something that has peanut butter in it, or mine loves cereal in the morning, dry or with milk.

My daughter will eat whatever I am eating, so it is usually a bowl of cereal or oatmeal.  She doesn't really like eggs or french toast, but you can try and see.  I don't have time to make pancakes so she hasn't had them yet.

My 13 month old is really starting to love a variety of foods...

For breakfast some things I have tried that he loves:

yogart and a little granola.

oatmeal with applesauce

Scrambled eggs (my other 2 hated eggs at this age, but Reese loves them)

and he loves cheerios and life cereal... sometimes he just gets a little bowl of dry cereal and a sippy cup of milk...

 If you are worried about her not getting a variety of nutrients, ask your ped. about it. My son was low on iron so he takes a infant vitamin supplement, but most kids are getting what they need even if they only eat one thing for a few weeks.

Hope this helps, Good Luck! =)

she definitely loves fruit...but i want her to be more balanced in her diet. She use to eat oatmeal and scrambled eggs but now she won't touch them.

I guess i really was optimistic that my daughter would some not be one of those kids that only eats one thing...well i guess i'm wrong. I just worry about her getting in all the food groups!

kids go through spurts where they have their fav thing, be it a food, toy or t-shirt. right now it is pb&j, sooner or later it will be someting new. try to sneak in something else once in a while but do not worry yourself about it too much.....he is just being a kid :-}

Hi! I have a 4-year old son. when he was about 7 months old he tasted the chocolate-after that everithing was chocolate! I was hoping for a miracle for him to stop eating chocolate stuff-it lasted for 6-7 months. After that there was a 6 months of eating only soup, then spagetti bolgnese for10 months and now he is asking pomes frittes for every meal. I somehow manage to give him vegetables, fruits, meat, but the fries are the one and only!

And I've stopped worrying about that, as long as I can give him anything else next to the "magic potato" :)))))

my son was addicted to coco pops. after a massive tantrum because we ran out i gave him porridge but mixed jam in with it. now he loves to put different things in it from jam to chocolate buttons and finally fruit.
