Quoting Nicole:

Honey is fine for breastfeeding mom, but baby's digestive and immune system are too immature to fight off possible botulism spores in honey. Do not feed any product containing honey (even cooked) to children under 1.

thanks nicole

i knew i couldn't feed my 5 1/2 month old honey

i jsut wasn't sure if it was something that past thru the breastmilk like everything else does!!!

You should be able to--the problem is the botulism spores, which is a biological thing, not a chemical, such as alcohol. I've never head anything about not eating honey while you are breastfeeding.
