Can I eat Honey while I am breast feeding?

i know that babies cannot eat honey until theya re atleast 1 year old due to bochalism spores. but as i breas feeding mom can i eat a little? here & there - not a whole container at once or antyhing LOL

i knew i couldn't feed my 5 1/2 month old honey



i jsut wasn't sure if it was something that past thru the breastmilk like everything else does!!!

You should be able to--the problem is the botulism spores, which is a biological thing, not a chemical, such as alcohol. I've never head anything about not eating honey while you are breastfeeding.

i love pb & honey sandwiches, and have done without for soooo long...  wanted honey on my fries today at Mc D's but thought i better not.
