i had my tubes tied 5months ago after my daughter was born..but i missed my period so far this month..people keep talking my you can still get pregnant so its got me worried..my doctor said is was for good but i was just wondering if its happened to anyone..

the possibility is slim but I knew someone who got pregnant 16 years after having a tubal done. I also have 2 cousins who had tubals both ended up pregnant after, one had a baby girl & the other a baby boy. If you're worried it doesn't hurt to check it out but there can be other reasons for missing your period. I had a tubal done 4 years ago & my period has been very unpredictable since.

my mom had hers tied after she had my sister the doctor told her it would be best to have them cut and burnt if she didnt want any more ...he told her that most of the time after 7 to ten years they can come untied

It is unlikely but possible, I got my tubes tied 19 months ago after my lil girl was born, and i still have not had a regular cycle since. It will take time for your body to adjust. It also depends on what method they used to tie your tube. I knew someone that they told her she would not ever get pregnant again after hers were tied 4 years later she got pregnant, and found out they only put a clamp on her tubes which came loose so find out which one they did to you. I have a friend who got hers cut and burned, and still was able to get pregnant later...Just because the chance is low, doesn't mean you shouldn't find out for sure, you could be that one in whatever...find out for sure, because my friend ended up having an eptopic pregnancy and needed surgery.

There is a very very low chance to get pregnant after getting your tubes tied but it's not impossible. I have heard a couple of cases. One had a tubal pregnancy and one gave birth to a baby girl!

theres a very unlikely chance u are pregnant id say ur periods have changed because your bodys adjusting.
