Its been about a week and I just recently took 3 pregnancy tests one didn't work next one I took at night said negative then the next morning it came out positive but a faint line and now I'm lightly bleeding. I'm confused what's going on I don't normally get my period and its strange that a home test would be positive. My boyfriend and I are sexually active so I'm worried what this could mean. Please help me thanks ladies

Katrina, I am so sorry about your loss. It is heartbreaking no matter what stage you lose your child. there are many sites and groups out there for baby loss mommas which can offer you support. Try to block out the negative comments from well meaning friends that do not help. Allow yourself time to grieve and surround yourself by those who support you in it. Loss is a tragedy and is not "god's will" or "for the best" or "a sign there was something wrong"
Wishing you peace.

I'm sorry about the loss Katrina. Its never easy but usually it means something wasn't right with the pregnancy. I wish you luck in the future.

Implantation bleeding occurs BEFORE you would get a positive test result. Your body won't produce the hcg needed for a positive test until after implantation. Also, do not read a test after 10 min. Some tests will produce a line that looks positive but is just an evaporation line. Evaporation lines are not positive pregnancy tests. If you want to be sure, buy a digital test. It will say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so that there is no confusion.

If you are pregnant and you are lightly spotting then it is likely nothing but it is best to be seen by a doctor, midwife or nurse practitioner.

You don't need to rush off and get an ultrasound straight away. Just make an appointment with your doctor.

If you got a positive you are pregnant.

a positive is a positive no matter how faint and as the other person said it could be implantation bleeding or it could be an early miscarriage. i had a faint positive and got blood work done and sure enough i was but a few days later i started bleeding and i ended up losing the pregnancy.. not trying to scare you but you really need to go see the doctor and get an ultrasound done to make sure everything is ok as soon as possible.

good luck!

There is no such thing as slightly pregnant you are or you are not. The fact that you have had any sort of positive whether faint line or not tells you you are pregnant. If you are lightly bleeding this could be implantation bleeding and this occurs about 3-4 days after your period is due. Any bleeding in pregnancy needs to be checked out so make an appointment with your doctor and have a sonogram done to make sure that the pregnancy is in the right place and all is well. Congratulations!
