I'm glad some things are helping. The thing that bothered me was other people thought because she couldn't talk she wasn't smart and that is absolutely not true. She is in high school now and has straight A's. So don't ever let anyone make you feel like something is wrong with having a delay in speech. My sister's delay was due to the fave that the back of her tounge mussel is lazy and doesn't form sounds right. She didn't talk due to the fact that it was hard for her to get her tounge to move right.

My sister had a severe speech delay when she was younger, but they wouldn't help her because she didn't have what they considered a learning disorder. She was finally able to get speech therapy after my mom fought for her for years. It took a lot of speech excersizes but she eventually got it. Keep working at it. Somethings these things take time. He will eventually get it. Good luck!
