the past week we have had some really cold weather and its coming on to winter and my son always kicks his blankets off we have tried to use the sleeping bag outfit things but he is so uncomfortable just wondering if anyone has any other ideas apart from waking up every half an hour to put them back over him???

Warm clothes. Mine won't sleep with blankets either. I used thermals topped with sweats. Thick socks as well, and her room was the only one with an electric heater. It cut itself off at a certain temp.

I agree with Christa on the footed pjs. My kids are 4 and 2 1/2 and still used them this past winter. I am also sorry that it's becoming winter. We are so over the cold weather. It was a rough one here. I've never been so happy for summer to be approaching.

Out of curiosity where are you located? What we did once my daughter out grew the sleep sacks we doubled the PJ's. We'd put her in a thinner footed PJ's and then got the thick fleece ones in a bigger size over them. That worked for us all winter.
