I first used coloxyl drops (recomended by our doctor) it worked well with our first baby but had no effect on the second. Try 3-5ml prune juice once a day for at least a week, did the trick you will know if you have given them to much (trust me). Many midwives recomend this ,some say its to strong foe them. It worked so well for us and our baby is now 3 months old and hasn't needed it for 6 weeks. I found it just helped her body adjust from breast milk formula without makiing her normal functions lazy. (We feed it to her in a syringe bit at time, she loved the taste)

Yeah the prune juice worked best for me too. My health nurse made a comment about sugar with it but then recommended sugar water! Beside sugar water didnt work so back to the prune juice - we put a 1/2 - 1ml in each bottle to just loosen the bowel a little - worked like a charm!
