Okay so I'm 3 weeks and 3 days late for my period and have tender breast, moody, etc. I've taken 4 pregnancy test..two at about 1 week late and two more around 2 1/2 weeks late but all 4 were negative. I really feel like I'm pregnant but I don't have insurance right now so I can't really go to the doctor. I've read stories about people not getting a positive test until later in pregnancy...Has this happened to anyone here?

What I meant was I would rather not go to the doctor for a pregnancy test but if I am pregnant I would absolutely be going to the doctor. I will have insurance soon but my husband just switched jobs and the people at the new job messed up and didn't put me on so I'm waiting for them to fix it. I am going to planned parenthood tomorrow though. Thanks ladies :)

Yes and I was pregnant. What do you mean you can't go to the doctor? What if you ARE pregnant??

I think you should go to Planned Parenthood and get a blood test so you'll know for sure. I would imagine that your test would have come back positive by now if you were pregnant. I tested positive 5 days before my missed period. Good luck!

Thanks Louise! My date are definitely correct..my periods come like clock work. I have never been on birth control and my husband and I did have unprotected sex a few times in between my cycles. Does anyone know if planned parenthood does blood test? Like I said I don't have insurance so I can't really go to the dr

Most pregnancy tests would show at about 6 weeks pregnant. Are you sure your dates are right. Have you come off birth control or any other hormone based drug. If so your periods may be delayed. Coming off the pill can take about a year for full periods to resume again.

If you have had unprotected sex and you have not been taking birth control for some time then the likelihood is you are pregnant. You really need this confirming at the doctors office. They will send you for blood tests but in the mean time they can do an internal to see how large your cervix is. At 6 weeks it should be the size of an orange and easily located.
