Could I still be pregnant?

I was just wondering about false negatives.. So, I haven't had my period since October and I've taken 3 in home pregnancy tests and they were negative. I went to the doctors just to make sure and did another urine test and they said it was negative as well. I have a very strong feeling that I am pregnant, I have all the sure signs and everything. Should I do a blood test? I heard they were just as sensitive, but blood and urine are two different things. My sister, when she got pregnant, hers were never positive either. I've never been pregnant so I don't know exactly how it feels. My symptoms are: Heartburn, Headaches, VERY frequent urination, Sore Back, Extremely Fatigued, Eating A Lot. The only things I'm not experiencing at all are sore boobs and cramps (when I'm on my monthly my boobs are untouchable cuz they get so sore and I have very little cramps).
What should I do? Any other mothers experience the same?

Pregnancy symptoms are very common symptoms for a lot of things. If you're someone who is super active, that could be the reason for not having your period. As well as stress. If you've ruled all things like this out then go in for a blood test or ultrasound. You want to make sure that should there be a baby, that it's taken care of properly. Good luck!

When my aunt and mom were pregnant, even a bloodtest couldnt tell them they were pregnant. My aunt had HG and the doctors kept telling her she wasnt pregnant. Sent her to a specialist to see why she was puking so much, when they did the ultrasound, found out she was 6 months pregnant.

my first son was like that!! all negatives, even a blood test came back negative, it all depends on the level of harmones at the time you take the test, my harmone levels were very low but sure enough my last blood test showed that i was pregnant and they finally gave me an ultra sound and boom i was 4 months pregnant :) i was just very careful and quit smoking and starting eating moe healthier just to be on the safe side and im glad i did, :D if you think you are, keep trying until you either get results or a period. GoodLuck

A blood test would definately be the next step but the symptoms you are describing didn't kick in for me until the second trimester (heartburn especially since that is caused by pressure that shouldn't exsist at this stage of pregnancy). I found out that I was pregnant at 4 weeks and my boobs were SORE. They felt like they were going to fall off every time I moved. Every woman is different however I would get a full physical and tell the doctor all your symptoms because it could very well be an ovarian cyst causing the problems.

I would recommend a blood test. For some women, the HCG in their system is never strong enough to have a positive urine test. I am pregnant with my third and I don't think I had sore boods until at LEAST 2 months into the pregnancy.

I would talk to your doctor again- a blood test is a good start- there could always be some other kind of issue as to why you are not getting your period and it needs to be addressed.

It never hurts to get a second opinion. I would go back to the doctor and request another test and also request if that comes up negative that you would like to find you are having the symptoms even though you aren't pregnant. Not to scare you, but you never know if there is something else going on with your body.
