my daughter is 5 months now and after i had her i bleed for about 2 months, and i was on the depo shot. i still havent gotten a normal period, but i do get the usually symptoms of one: really bad cramps, my back hurts and i have the after math of the period, but not the actual blood. i know after while u wont get periods at all, but is it too soon for that for me???

Hi I was`on the depo for 2 yrs I had 3 normal periods before it started to slow them down untill they completly stopped after my secound shot.Word of warning though, the side affects can be serve. I had to stop my shots as it gave me serve depression n I gained 8 kilos in 6 months and cannot lose it, just ask your doctor for the list of side affects n keep an eye out for anything, wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did.

I got put on it in the hospital when I had my son and bled like the 6 weeks after I had him then 2 months later i bled for 2 weeks and I havent bled since and its been about 1 1/2 yrs

I bled for a month straight every three months while on Depo. This is the worst birth control ever. I gained 80 pounds because of it. And got endometriosis from it.

U have 2 see ur doctor. I bled for 8 months str8 while on the Depo and i went to my doctor and we found out something was wrong with me. Before my pregnancy i was on the depo for 2years and i stopped having periods 4months after using it.So u have to be careful

my periods didnt stop completely until my daughter was about a year old but its different for evey mom. Now i only get them when i miss a shot its great good luck and hang in there!
