With my first (a boy), I developed pre-eclampsia, was on bedrest for almost half of the pregnancy, had to be induced, and had a 23 1/2 hour labor.

I just gave birth to my second (a girl) almost 6 weeks ago, and the only thing that was bad about that pregnancy is that my pelvis (where it connects to the spine) and my hip bones (where the legs connect to the pelvis) kept going out of joint and pinching nerves. I was in a LOT of pain, and was almost on bedrest for the last two months of the pregnancy. I went into preterm labor twice (because of doing too much and stress), and ended up being induced because she was so large. The labor with her was only about 14 hours long.

The recovery time was extremely different for me, too. With my son, it took me almost 5 months to fully heal, and just over a year to lose the weight. After my daughter, it only took about 4 weeks to feel normal again, and I am back into my pre-pregnancy clothes already!

Good luck!

my first was twin girls and very easy and a quick labor. my second was a singleton daughter, she sat on my sciatica the whole time, very low in my hips. her birth took 20 hours. I'm pregnant right now (38 weeks) with our 4th, i was nauseous/puking the whole time and had migraines several times a week for a month or so, but otherwise it's been just fine. we'll see how the birth goes pretty soon.
every child is different, but they're always worth the effort.

I was tired alot but i assume thats normal in a pregnancy...id rather be tired all the time than puking all the time...lol hopefully the next will be the same for me but not for you! good luck!

I had a very easy easy pregnancy the first time with my b/g twins who are two now, I just had their little brother on July 12th. I had much more pains with his pregnancy and had much worse nausea than I did with the twins. I had the similar pains you are describing with my youngest.

My first pregnancy was simple. Aside from the morning sickness and having to use the bathroom all the time - it was like I wasn't even pregnant. Even delivery was simple. I had a short labor and delivery and very little pain.

My second pregnancy was horrible. I was always sick, I had unbearable pain in my hips and lower back. In my third trimester, I could barely walk around because it hurt my hips so bad. I was always throwing up and some days could barely eat at all. I couldn't sleep because I developed restless leg syndrome and had horrible pain in my hips. Labor was horrible, my water broke when I had no contractions. They had to induce the contractions and even with an epidural - the contractions were unbearable.

I wanted a third child, but my second pregnancy made me question it, haha. I love my girls more than life itself, but I'm not sure if I ever want to go through that again!
