Dirty looks?

my little man is 8 weeks old and i havent been out since he was born unless my partner has been with me because of all the looks id get when i was pregnant. im a hairdresser and was working in a shopping centre so i had people staring at me all day every day, and clients who would constantly tell me i was to young to be having a baby (im 21) or that i now need to get married!

lol i totally understand. i was on the phone to medical receptionist the other day who said " is this your 1st" i didnt quite hear her and said yes to which she replied" i can always tell the young ones" Then my brain swtched on and i realised and asked what she ment well didnt she get a rude suprise when i told her " no i am actually pregnant with my 3rd"

So yes i understand and get those looks from many women around although i am lucky i live in a small area and most people know me. I try to ignore them.

im 22 and we have a 5 month old. we never really get any dirty looks or anything unless they are done behind our back. but where we live we are older compared to all these kids having kids. where we live i was one of the oldest ones in the hospital. i think i was the oldest one once when i was in the labor part gettinch checked.

im 22 with 2 young kids a 4yr old and a 19month old, i had people give dirty looks and come up to me and say hurtfully thing. i learnt that people are just rude and have no idea. my kids are the best thing that every happend to me and for other people to make you feel other wise is just wrong, be proud that your a good mum and maybe even a better 1 seeing as you will be able to enjoy your children grow up.

I am 23 years old and have two boys a 3 year old and a 1 year old, when i am not with my husband i think i might get some looks but mainly people will ask me age, they all usually say i look 18 or younger. But to be honest with you i have never ever felt uncomfortable with them two when i am alone, they are great kids the little one is always smiling and the older one says hi and is always so polite i get compliments on how well behaved they are, I know i am doing a good job so it really doesnt matter if anyone gives me a dirty look because i dont notice it

Yes i have had does looks and i simple give them a big smile, the very quickly turn away..we don't have to prove anything to strangers,and the don't know the kind of wonderful mom we are to our kids so it doesn't matter because we know, we are doing our very best for them so keep up the good work and let those dirty looks go and kill em with kindness.:-)

i think there just jealous i had my fist at 19 n then my lil girl at 22 n i get lots of looks but atlest im not baetin my kids n shoutin at them i love my kids i go out n i see somone lookin at me wiv a dirty look n i just giv it bk cos i no i look ather my kids n there cant say or 2 nuthing about it so just but ur head up n prond 2 be a YOUNG MUM!!

yes im 22 years old and i am a short girl with a smooth face i look like im 18 or so still and my son is 15 months i dont go anywhere without my husband i hate going out sometimes even with him cuz my wedding rings dont always want to fit so i feel like if i dont have that then who knows what i hate the way ppl think of you if your not 40 and have a 2yr old or something...i mean come on the ones giving you the bad glars are mostly the ones who were married at 15 and had 10 kids by 18 why should they just judge liike that

I know how you feel. We are not married yet so that adds to the dirty looks. I'm 23 and my bf is 32 so that adds to the dirty looks as well. He is the greatest dad takes amazing care of us, but people feel the need to not only give us mean looks but flat out tell us the horrible mean things they think. A friend of my mom's even said while I was pregnant, You know that people are going to consider your baby to be a bastard child. I looked at her and said "What people? You? Good thing I don't take what you say to heart." It's the strangers that are nicer but people I know feel they can say whatever they want.

Just ignore them! Who cares what they think? You know the truth and that's all that matters, right??
I know i don't care what people think and it's not even because i'm only 25 and pregnant with my 3rd but also because i'm in a interracial marriage so i'm used to the looks but they never bothered me.

Who cares what everybody else thinks! As long as your taken care of your kids and they are healthy and not neglected, who cares about other peoples dirty looks and smart remarks. Maybe they just jealous,lol.
