Hi Rae, I'm new and just saw your post. I battled with my mommy tummy months after losing my baby weight. I've written an article about my battle with this and how I was able to lose the belly fat without surgeries or going to the gym. You can find the article here is you're still interested in reading. Good luck! It can be done it just takes some time and the right exercises! http://mamainheels.com/2012/11/21/mommy-...

You'll have to be strict, but cut out the carbs ( SO HARD), lots of veggies and protein.
example:
Breakfast: whole eggs or egg whites mixed with veggies of your choice (spinach/peppers/mushrooms are pretty good and fill you up) and 1 piece of fruit
snack: 1 cup of berries and 1 oz of almonds
lunch: salad/ 4 oz lean protein (chicken/turkey/egg whites) veggies of your liking, use a vinaigrette dressing 1 or 2 Tbsp
snack: yogurt or cottage chesse
dinner: 4-5 oz protein, a salad with a vinaigrette dressing, and another cup of veggies.
If you want a snack get the sugar free jello packs. Don't go below 1200-1300 calories per day, if you're breast feeding you may need to eat some more, but keep it "clean."
Like I said it ain't pretty, but it does work.
