do you ever feel that when you are expecting a baby that your friends are always to busy to hang out with you or even call you ? but then when you have your little baby they are all there for just that time hmm doesnt it make you wonder weather your friends are really friends or just users alot of the time it is just the friends that dont have children so what is going on have you had this done to you

thanks guys at least i know i have people that can understand and be as young as me and have basically the same problems cant wait to make new friends. thats all i want and need is trust worthy friends !

yep i had friends do that to me too kylie but join a new mothers group when you have your baby and take baby to mothers groups and playgroups you can meet other mums and make freindships there maybe you could join a young mothers group or a new baby group (at queensland health centres) and this is good for you to meet people and also your baby will have playmates too :)

Not really, I had alot more going on with my friends before I was pregnant because I could drink, hang out in smokey places and not worry about anything. So I KNOW they are too busy, doing all the things I used to do but not so interested in now. Eg I went to a new years party and left baby at home with dady, I really wanted to be at home too. and when I got back I stank of smoke and even though I was envited to do an all nighter with them then go round someones house I declined cos I wanted to be with family!
Dont worry about friends you can make lots of mummy friends when you start taking your baby to local groups/children centres etc :)

All the time even after your first born turns 4 But then you find websites like this and you find extremely helpful and caring people and you find out that you are ok and you have heaps of friends here that can relate to you
