when my daughter was 5 months old I had her feet stamped and tattooed on my right shoulder. Its the tattoo that means the most to me.

i have a vine that wraps around my ankle with my sons name in the middle of it! im thinking of going and having his birth date put on the other side of it!

Yep! I have her birth prints of her feet on the middle part of my back to remember the special day with her name below it...love having this tattoo...reminds me of how cute and little those tiny feet were on her birth-day!

Yes I do it is on my upper left arm it is a double heart with banner and has my oldest twos initals and birth day date and year, I still have to add one for my youngest two.

I just wanted to throw in that foot tattoos are verrry painful! I dont want to say its the worst place for a tattoo but it really is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo on your body!

i have my Kerr Malcolm tattood on my inner wrist i got this done on mothers day. my mum jokes its incase i forget his name but i think its nice just to see my sons name there everyday make me feel proud to be a mum

Hi! I recently got my first tattoo, and it was for my son. I never got a tattoo before and I was scared, so I just got his name and his birthdate on my shoulder, but at some point I want to get a frog prince somewhere for him as well!

I have a bunch of tattoos and as soon as I could I went to get one for the birth of my son. My artist and I call it the sacred pacifier. It is like the traditional sacred heart, with a banner that says his first name, except it is a pacifier. I put it on my forearm, but that is because I already have tattoos. I know a lot of people who get their children's hand prints or foot prints with the child's initials or the full name. I think that's a cute idea, but I wanted something a little different. Though since you don't have tattoos, I would suggest the upper back as on of the least painful spots. The problem there is you don't see it much. Good luck

I have a small tattoo of a mama duck and a baby duck on my right shoulder. I wanted something to remind me of my kids. I am going to keep adding ducks as I have kids. I thought about putting their birthday date under each duck but I think I'll leave it just ducks and let people wonder or ask. I kinda like the secret. It doubles for my husband too... his nick name is Lucky Duck. be cause he was one lucky duck to have met me. :)

i want so bad to get a tattoo of my kids names on my lower leg/ankle.. my hubbie doesnt want me to cuz its just not girlie (in his country) but its my choice.. i was thinking like a tree (that i can add to in the future) and have my kids names in it or a rose and the vines have the kids name on it.. so pretty

I have a two tattoos for both of my children. One in a blue rose with a banner with his name, and the other is the same way. The only difference is the other rose is a dark purple color. They are on my right arm.

I am getting a lily flower on my wrist with two hearts to represent mine and my baby boy's, to me it will mean our hearts are together until we die. (lily is often ossociated with funerals/death so thought it goes well with the meaning)

Nothing regarding my son yet,... But, like Karen said. I'm planning on getting his footprint with date of birth underneath. I'm waiting until I have our second child so my husband and I can discuss appropriate places for both! Good luck!

When I had my son, I already had 2 tattoos. I definatly wanted another tattoo that had more meaning than the other two, and I always knew that I would get my childrens names tattooed when I had them. So what I did was I have 4 little footprints walking up my left foot, and on the first one (closes to my toes), I have my son's name and his birthday underneath it....Kaleb 10-31-02...it's written in script. I get so many complements on it and I can see it everyday. And the reason I did it this way was becasue when I have more children, there names go next to the other footprints.

I have my son's name in Japanese on my foot as well as a Koi fish, which is symbolic for a son in the Japanese culture. It takes up all of the surface space on my foot, and hurt soooo bad! My tattoo artist said, "You gave birth, so that can't be that bad, right?" I replied, "No, it's waaay worse, I had an epidural when I gave birth!" I plan on getting a tattoo for all of my future children too. :o)

I don't have any tattoos but I have been thinking about getting all 3 children, starting with my oldest childs, baby hand print coming over my left sholder and then the next childs down from that, and then the baby's under that. It symbolizes the love and respect I have for them. And they will always be my angel's over my shoulder. It will make me think 3 times brfore doing something that will affect all of us.

I have a blue daisy with my son's name next to the petals on my foot. I got the daisy because my favorite flower is a daisy and it also happens to be his birth month flower (also our kitty's name is daisy). So the tattoo has real meaning for me. I got a baby blue one because I have a boy and I got it on my foot because he is constantly stepping on my feet for everything!

My son just turned 2 and I just got my tattoo done the represents my monster. On my calf I have his little foot print (u kno the ones u get from the hospital when they come home) and top it says his name Quincy and underneath the foot it says Tyrell (his middle name) and under that it has his bday. I have a tattoo for each of my sons. I have a heart with my first sons name in it and the day he was born on my right leg, on my left leg I have my youngest sons name and his birthdate with a heart and a rose. My youngest sons is bigger than my oldest bc he was the most stubborn so I got his bigger to remind of how stubborn he was when I was pregnant.
