When I was pregnant with my daughter, I wanted to name her Ryan, however, her dad was not really for it, considering it was a boys name, but we both agreed on the name Haylee, even though I didnt care for it, I only agreed cause her name became Haylee Ryan. Thank god I dont have a daddy for my son to tell me what he wants to name him, so I got all the fun to myself. Going with Logan Myles....and i love it, just wish i loved my daughters name as much as my sons, dont mis quote me, i love my children the same, just was never a fan of the name haylee.

I love my daughters name Arianna Violet. My hubby and I both agreed. It was his first choice for a girl. He wanted Elizebeth, which I dont mind but I dont love the name. We went through a baby name book and we both liked it. I also was considering Kendra. when I had our second. I knew if it was a boy it would be Nathan Jr. I don't really care for the name but I knew it was important to him so I agreed. we used Robert for the middle name after my hubbys dad. I call him Little Natey. I really like the Name Cayden for a boy. He hates it.

I know a girl named Kyle. She was a friend of mine growing up. She hated her name she said her dad wanted her to be a boy. so he gave her a boy name. So alot of people called her kylie.

I love my daughter's name. We first picked out Madison Rose. But then there were complications during delivery and I had to have an emergency C-section (long story short, everything turned out ok!) When the doctors asked my husband what our baby girls name was he wouldn't tell them until he spoke with me. He wanted to change her middle name Rose (names after my great-grandma) to Faith because he felt that we all made it through the emergency c-section was by having a little Faith... so my baby girl is Madison Faith. My husband and I call her Faith and Faithy Girl, but everyone else calls her Madison or Madison Faith.

You could always do what one of my student's parents did. At 5 years old they legally changed his name because they didn't care for his first name. They never called him by his first name so they legally changed it to his nickname and are thrilled!

I was in love with the name Jamysen for a girl but my partner hated is because he had a teacher called Mrs Jamison who he didnt like lol, but in the end we agreed on Jordyn Lee which i now LOVE it suits her so much, Lee is my sister's middle name :) i have told him though when we have more children and if its a girl we will be naming her Jamysen May. (he's agreed lol)

I found our sons name and my partner was 'hmm maybe', i asked his family and they loved it and they bullied him into it and he ended up liking it. We called him Hunter Shane Parsons. We had agreed beforehand that the child would have fathers last name and if it was a boy using his stepfather's name as a middle name and my mother's first name and my middle name as a middle name if it was a girl.

My husband and I had a hard time deciding on a name cause he wanted to have a boy and name him JR, but we had a girl. Since if we have a boy he wants a JR, we decided to give our daughter the same initials as me, JMP. So we agreed on Jada Mackenzie. I also realled liked the names Julianna, Jenna, Julia. If we have another child I would like Jensen Emory for a boy or Julianna Emory for a girl.

OMG, me and my partner could never agree on names, I wanted my 1st daughters name to be Lila and he hated it, eventually after we just could not agree, she got her name out of a mag at the hospital on the day she was born, Tori Tiger-lilly, tori, her first name, after Tori spelling and Tiger-lilly her middle name after tiger-lily hutchingson (paula yates daughter).. and for our 2nd daughter we agreed on Charlie for a boy or girl so that was easy and for her middle name i liked cooper but he didnt and it eventually became olivia which has grown on me. And our sons name is Shayden.

My Daughter was named Shayla Makenzie which i am still in love with..
Me and my partner agreed that if she had his last name I get to choose her first and middle names.
I heard Shayla when i was about 9 years old and it stuck with me until i was able to use it for our little girl.
Daddy didn't really care what i named her as he isnt a big name person like i am but he absulutely loves her name now...
Shayla means Fairy Palace so she is our little fairy!!!

i really like my sons name.
he's called oliver francis alexander manning.
couldn't imagine him being called anything else now!
i picked the name oliver and we both agreed that if it was a boy that would be his name (my partner liked olivia for a girl .. so either way ollie .. found out at 19weeks that it was going to be little oliver! lol)
francis is after my grandad (father's side)
alexander (i let my partner choose the next middle name as i choose the first 2 names .. named after manchester united manager sir alex ferguson .. pfft typical bloke .. luckily i really liked the name alex)
manning (is my son's daddys surname)

the only thing i dislike about my son's name is that we didn't realise at the time but his initials almost spell out OXFAM ..
O-F-A-M

Well I was really hoping for a daughter and all my life I was going to name her Adriana. Well we ended up having a boy so I just cut off the "a" at the end and he is now Adrian. My husband and I joke that if we ever had a daughter, her name will be Adriana. We'd have Adrian and Adriana.

I was the one that basicly came up with my boys names and it was at the beginning of the pregnancy that I figured out what names I loved. My first ended up to be Noah James and my second became Carter Jay. The second son my husband gave a little more input to what he liked and didn't like and after we figured out what name we were going to use then we used them everyday when we would talk to my belly and then after birth it just felt like it was ment to be their names.

I chose to name my baby Gatlin Hollywood.

I was originally going to give him Hollywood as the first name, and was thinking about middle names. At that time I got so much negative feed back from people about the name, I figured he would have the same problem growing up as well. I was disappointed because the name Hollywood has soo much meaning to me, but I didn't want my son to get nasty look every time he told his name to an adult.

So, I began to search out first names, that would go well, with Hollywood being the middle name. I started paying attention to the credits when a movie would finish, to see if anything inspired me. One night about a week later I was watching the movie Changeling, and during the credits, the name Gatlin rolled up the screen. I loved it. I did some research and found it is derived from the word Gatling, as in Gatling gun.

Wikipedia says::: The Gatling gun is one of the best known early rapid-fire weapons and a forerunner of the modern machine gun.

So yes, I loved it, and yes, I am naming my baby after a weapon. lol.

Most people still don't care for it, but I am not getting nearly as bad a reaction as I did with Hollywood. I just say "hey, at least I didn't name him Blanket or Apple." :)

I do love my daughters name now. Laura Olivia. It suits her, but at first I was iffy about it. My partner really wanted it and hated all the names I had chosen. Isla was my number one. Anyway, I settled on Laura and chose Olivia after she was born as her second name. Those two together are what makes it beautiful to me.

I love my daughters names because they are not too common without being difficult to spell or pronounce. Delaney Rae is my oldest who we call D-Rae which she loves. We almost named her Bailey but I am glad we didn't because she is sooo Delaney! My other daughter is Adelyn Blair. We call her Addy Bear which was started by her sister who couldn't pronounce her name when she was first born, it has stuck with her and we love it! We almost named her Addison but decided it was getting to too popular and are really glad we went with her name.

My husband hated every name I liked until we found the name Cali, He thinks he was the first to suggest it but it was me. He choose it from a rap song about California. So we agreed on her name but never discussed the spelling, as I was preparing her room I painted the letters to her name, my husband came home and was like you spelled her name wrong LOL we decided to spell it the way he wanted it because after all he had picked the name. I however chose both of her middle name so we ended up with Cali Jordan Louise. Jordan after my brother and Louise is a middle name from me and my mom. We already have th ename for our next baby if it is a boy. We called Cali it for the first 7 months because I was sure I was having a boy

My husband picked our son's name, which is Aidan. I wanted something a little more distinct but my husband thought all the names i picked out were too strange, so he picked out something that was less common. then in 2006 all of a sudden everyone was naming their kids Aidan, Aiden, Ayden or some other form of the same like Jayden and Kayden. i was upset at first but i think his name really suits him and with his Daddies first name as a middle name he is a very respectable Aidan James which turned out just right for us!

I was one of those girls who had my babies names picked out long before they were even thought of.. But once I conceived I would never name my child either of the names I had picked. My fiancee and I decided on Lucas James for our son. And I love it. We added Clifford as a second middle name for my grandpa. Lucas was the first boy baby born after my grandpa passed away and it just seemed appropriate. He is Lucas Clifford James and I love it.

You could start calling her Ryan.

It's family tradition on my husbands side to name the first born son John, a name I don't care for. Luckily, hubs goes by his middle name so he didn't have a problem with our son doing it either. Our son actually has 2 middle names because we couldn't decide! His name is John Henry Lincoln. We call him Henry or Linc.

I love my daughter's name! When I found out I was pregnant we had picked the name Skylar Grace but when I hit my 7 month mark roughly I had a dream and in that dream I was visited by my Granny that died shortly after I turned 2. We were sitting at a table having coffee and just talking and she said that she had always loved the name Emily, but never got to use it. When I woke up the next morning crying my eyes out I informed everyone that the baby's name has been changed. All we did was changed the spelling a bit. Her name is Emilee grace. We chose that spelling because both my dad and brother and my husband's dad and brother all have the middle names Lee. LOL! We have already decided on our 2 sons names too for when they get here. They are going to be Lane and Tuff. We haven't found middle names for them yet but we are looking into our families for ideas.

Yes, I love both of my daughters name. We both agreed on both the names though so that helped. At the time, when we named my 1st daughter the name Kaylee wasn't that popular so we decided on Kaylee. Now I hear a lot of girls are named Kaylee but I still love the name. Then with my second daughter we wanted a name that you didn't hear often and had a nice meaning so we went with Haven. We both love it, it's different but not hard to spell or pronounce.

That's funny DeAnna! My youngest sons name is Caidyn Joseph. Joseph was my husbands dads name. And Caidyn was the name I wanted to give our first son, but my husband said he didnt care for it. Well, he got outnumbered when our oldest chose Caidyn for his brothers name. My oldest sons name is Chaise James, which his dad and I both agreed on. We just both liked Chaise, and James was my dads name! So, we compromised with the middle names, because I had used my dads name, then I let him use his dads name for our youngest!

I love my son's name, Reegan Blake Allan. When we found out it was a boy we decided to name him after are dads (both middle names are our fathers middle names). We went to the hospital with a list of names and spent the morning staring at him. We realized none of the names suited him, but we both liked Reegan.

His middle name is david after my fil. JD came from scrubs and Jacskon came from Johnny cash. If we have a girl we're naming her after me, my mom and my mil. My middle name is LeAnn, moms middle name is Lea, and my mil is Lora so we're going to name her Loralea Grace.

I do like my son's name "Arlando" however the father and I had made an agreement which was - if our son came out looking more like me his name would be "Xavier" but if he came out looking like the father than it would be "Arlando". He came out looking more like me but was still named Arlando... not quite sure how that happened, I was so woozy from the drugs and labour...

I like the name he's ended up with. Just starting to feel sorry for my son who's full name has 24 letters...

It was not the first name I chose but the only thing that was important to me was that her name include either 'chelsea' or 'gayle' for my little sister. I Love my little mans name! Anthony Michael- However, my hubby and i decided on this pretty close to the end of my pregnancy! We picked so many after we found out we were having a boy but couldn't seem to agree on anything! I really wanted Michael for his first name even thought it's so common... but we decided not to do that since My hubby, his dad and my dad are all named michael! so we picked that for his middle name and my hubby is 1/2 itialian so we chose Anthony! And I must say I can't see my Lil guy in any other name becuase he's a little porker at 4 months and it just fits him perfectly! Now if we have more we'll just have to find something to "fit" with that-- but it's a classic name and I Love it!!

I still like his name, but after he was born, someone on my side of the family, and his dad's side both had boys and named them Kaleb, but spelled it with C. My daughter is Kinsley Cole. Kinsley was not my first pick, but it suits her (and I won on how to spell it!), and Cole, daddy picked out and I really didn't like because I think of a boys name when I think "Cole", but she is our little tomboy, so it completely suits her! My whole life I wanted to name my daughter Rania... I love that name! But when I was pregnant not only did my husband hate it, but so did my family and my best friend. I would have named her that anyway if it wasn't for my husband. I also liked the names Sophia/Sophy and Summer... but she was born in winter, so i decided not to name her Summer, lol and although my huband also liked Sophia his family didn't... SOOOO we thought about naming her Noor after his mother, I actually suggested it, but then I heard the name Layana, its like Liana but different, and I loved it, so I started calling her that since I was 6 months pregnant. Well when she was born, my husband started this campaign to name her Noor, even though we had decided on Layana, but I insisted that that was her name, and i was all emotional and begging... so he finally agreed and we made it official after she was like 5 days old.... we actually left the hospital and the baby didn't have a name! So I did get my way. I wanted to double name her Layana Noor, which is beautiful, but in the country I live in the put the father's name as the child's middle name and I couldn't. I'm thinking when I go back to America i'll have it changed to Layana Noor.... anyway does anyone know if that will be an easy process?
