I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I have PUPPP, with no stretch marks at all. Its driving me crazy I have been using Aveeno moisturizing lotion and Palmer's cocoa butter for stretchmarks like crazy! I was told by my doctor not to use hydrocortisone to much if at all because of the side effects known and unknown.

YES! I had it too!!!! I developed it in my third trimester and it was SO bad that i had to gave up work early!
Okay what i did was any time the itching; i had a bath in "pinetarsol"(you can get it at any chemist), with my husband sponging me (not scatching me), and after i applied, "tricortone". This is a very mild steriod based cream but it really works! You would need to go to the doctor to get a perscription. I had other "ego" brand moisterisers to put on also. I feel that if you get relief from the steriod based cream then it will be worth it! It eventually cleared up for me around 1 month after i had my son. I felt like i was go CRAZY!!!
My son is now 3 months old, very happy, very good so im thinking your baby will be fine! Good luck, and..... Dont Scatch!!! :)
