add some soapy bubbles to it that way it waill be a fun bath/splash ! as long as the water is fresh each time .

i saw your posts saying you do empty and clean it if so i would say that is fine. i know ours got bathed maybe every 2-3 days because the hospital told us how bad it is for their skin to have a bath every day, my mum didnt get this because she was used to the old times. now she has a bath every day because of course she is on solids now and she is 14 months so im sure it doesnt do damange at this age. but no at that age it is ok providing they are not dirty of course.

I bathe my children when they are dirty, depends on their age and what we do during the day, when it hits spring they are outside all day so they usually get a bath. I would say no he does not need both because it is the same water, if you are worried when you get inside just wipe him down with a damp cloth. It seems like a waste of water and time to bathe him twice. Also in the 1800's children bathed like once a month it really is all relative I'm sure your son is clean enough coming out of water that he does not need another bath.

personally i would but i bathe my son everyday. if he doesnt get a bath in the morning then he def gets one at night. like i said that's just my personal opinion on it

I read that if you bathe them more often than every two or three days it can dry their skin, so i'd say know. I still bathe my 5 wk old daily, sometimes every other day because the formula smell stinks. I just use huggies lotion which works wonders

He doesn't need a bath everyday, as long as his diaper area stays clean, I think you're good to go.

Yes, I do empty and clean the pool each time he uses it.  I only refill it right before he's about to get in it, so he's basically taking a bath outside with no soap!  And I know all about the sweaty boy smell, lol!

I think he'll be fine not having a bath :) i don't bath my son everyday because he's got skin like me and it dries out too quickly. and as long as the water in the pool is clean, why bother?

Yes, I do empty and clean the pool each time he uses it.  I only refill it right before he's about to get in it, so he's basically taking a bath outside with no soap!  And I know all about the sweaty boy smell, lol!

I wouldn't be too concerned about "over-bath[ing]" him - especially if you don't use soap every time. But, no I wouldn't think he really needs a bath too - certainly not every day! Babies don't really get dirty, sweaty or oily - so as long as the diaper area is kept clean - you're good to go.
