My son is breastfed, but when my boyfriend and I want a night out and we need to leave him with a sitter he will need to except being bottle fed. The problem is that he doesn't like the bottle, we use expressed breast milk but he will only take it if he is extremely hungry but will fuss for hours until he gives in. Any ideas on how to get him to except the bottle- Easily that is.?

How old is your baby? Mine would not take a bottle from 4 months until just now and he will be 7 month on friday. He didnt eat for 6 hours the one day my Mom tryed to get a bottle into him. Last night I went out with some girls to the movies and my husband got about 5oz of formula into him. And he slept all night without needing me. Depending on his age try a sippy cup. I think it was easier to get my son to take a bottle because he is having solids and is used to being given different things. Also I think after I stopped stressing out about it he decided to give me the shock of my life. Just try not to stress about it. If he is given solids, send some to the baby sitter and have someone like family baby sit him. They will be more pationt with him. Start by only going away for 1-2 hours then work your way up. It will get easier. Just try to go with the flow.
